Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect only what's needed to make and deliver your order. We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we never see your full card number.

What we collect

• At checkout (entered on Stripe's secure page): your name, email, shipping address, phone number and the items you bought. Stripe handles your card details; we only see the card type and last four digits.
• If you email us: your email address and whatever you write.
• Your cart is saved only in your own browser (its "local storage") so it's still there if you leave and come back. It never reaches us until you check out.

How it's used

• To make, ship and support your order, and to send receipts and order updates.
• To prevent fraud and keep required business and tax records.

We don't send marketing emails unless you've separately asked for them.

Who it's shared with

Only the companies needed to complete your order:

• Stripe processes payments (Stripe's privacy policy).
• Our production partner prints and packs your item and receives your name, shipping address and phone number to deliver it.
• Shipping carriers receive what they need to deliver the package.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and processes basic technical data (like IP addresses) to serve pages and block attacks.

We may also share information when the law requires it. We don't sell or "share" personal information for cross-context advertising, as those terms are defined under California and similar state laws.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal reasons (usually up to 7 years), then deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing stephanie@publicrecordsmusic.com. Depending on where you live (California, for example) you may have more rights; we honor them for everyone. We won't treat you differently for asking. Records we're legally required to keep can't be deleted.

Children

This store isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
